How to Change Your Cookie Banner Base Template to "Opt-Out"

An opt-out cookie banner allows all cookies, scripts, and pixels to load on a webpage before a visitor gives consent to be tracked. Visitors can choose to opt out of tracking afterward. This type of banner is not recommended.

Navigate to the ComplyAuto Dashboard, which can be found at:https://login.complyauto.com/

Sign into your account.

Tip 💡: If you don’t have a ComplyAuto account, please contact a ComplyAuto administrator. You can request that they add you to the dealership's ComplyAuto account. Be sure to get their approval before proceeding.

Select the "Privacy" dashboard.

Select "Privacy" from the left hand menu-bar.

Select "Cookie Consent"

Identify the banner you would like to update and select the "Change Banner Template" icon.

Click "Change Base Template"

Select the "Federal Opt-Out" base template.

Click "Update"

You have successfully made the change.
